Our Story
Welcome to Finch & Fable, where sustainable style meets timeless design for the little ones in your life. Our journey began with a passion for creating lasting memories and a commitment to leaving a positive impact on the planet. As the proud sibling of KidWild Organics, we emerged from a desire to craft a permanent collection of eco-friendly, durable basics that go beyond fleeting trends. Our vision for Finch & Fable was inspired by a commitment to slow fashion, weaving a narrative of sustainability into every garment. Recognizing the importance of embracing a more intentional and mindful approach to children's clothing, we set out to curate a selection that not only stands the test of time in terms of quality but also contributes to a healthier, greener world.
Our Values
At Finch & Fable, our mission is rooted in promoting sustainable practices and fostering a deep connection between the clothes we create and the families that wear them. We believe in the power of small choices to make a big impact, and that's why we meticulously source ethically-produced fabrics for our baby and children's clothing. Our goal is to redefine the way we view children's fashion, encouraging a shift towards thoughtful, timeless pieces that withstand the test of time, both in terms of durability and style. Join us on this journey, where each purchase is a step towards a more sustainable, compassionate future for the next generation!
Merino Wool Care
Thanks to the unique properties of Merino wool, caring for your little one’s garments is easier than you think. Merino wool is a natural wonder, and its self-cleaning, odor-resistant qualities mean less washing and more playtime. Here's a simple guide to help you keep your Finch & Fable treasures looking as vibrant as the memories they're part of.
Washing & Care Instructions:
- Machine Wash: Most of our garments can be machine washed in cold water using your machine’s delicate or wool wash program. Use a mild organic or wool detergent.
- Hand Wash: To promote longevity, hand wash any items not suitable for machine washing in cool water using a mild detergent specifically designed for woolens.
- Dry Flat or Hang Dry: After washing, reshape the garment and hang dry or dry it flat on a clean, dry towel to prevent stretching.
- No Bleach: Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners, as these can harm the natural fibers of the wool.
- Spot Cleaning: For small stains, spot clean with a mild detergent and cool water. Gently blot the stain without rubbing.
